Welcome to The Lookout: A Private Mountain Sanctuary Above Winter Park

Welcome to The Lookout, an Elysian Destination Properties home perched at the top of Lakota’s Northwoods neighborhood, backing directly to Arapahoe National Forest. Newly constructed and thoughtfully designed, this mountain contemporary home offers panoramic views, refined finishes, and a sense of privacy that feels both rare and restorative.
From its elevated setting, The Lookout delivers a seamless blend of architectural intention and natural beauty. Here, luxury is quiet and considered, defined by space, light, and an experience that feels genuinely personal.

An Elevated Mountain Experience
Arrival begins on the entry level, where generous storage makes transitions easy after full days on the mountain. From here, a private in-home elevator carries you upward through the home, revealing each level with intention until you arrive at the top floor great room.

The upper living level is the heart of The Lookout. Vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and expansive windows frame uninterrupted views of Winter Park, Mary Jane, James Peak, and Perry Peak. In winter, the experience becomes cinematic, with skiers visible on Lower Hughes from the comfort of the living room.

A striking fireplace anchors the space, creating a warm setting for conversation and unhurried evenings. The chef’s kitchen blends refined design with everyday functionality, featuring premium appliances, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and a generous island with seating for five. The adjacent dining area comfortably seats 8, making it ideal for shared meals, holidays, and meaningful gatherings.

Two expansive decks extend the living space outdoors. One offers sweeping mountain views for morning coffee or sunset moments, while the lower deck features a private hot tub, perfectly positioned for après ski evenings beneath open skies.

Spaces Designed for Connection and Retreat
The Lookout is intentionally designed across multiple levels to offer both togetherness and privacy.

A dedicated den provides a cozy lounge for movie nights, quiet afternoons, or a relaxed space away from the main living area. Above the great room, a loft offers an additional hangout space that overlooks the living area, ideal for reading, games, or simply taking in the architecture.

Each bedroom is designed as a private retreat, finished with hotel quality linens, serene palettes, and thoughtful layouts that encourage deep rest.

Bedroom Layout
• King Bedroom (Top Floor): King bed, ensuite bath, located just off the kitchen and great room
• Primary King Suite (Mid-Level): King bed, ensuite bath

• Bunk Room (Mid-Level): Custom built bunk bed with two queen beds and four twin beds, hallway bath

Beautiful property with amazing view of the mountain & slopes. You can ride the shuttle but you have to walk about 100 yards to the shuttle stop, but it's only 4-5 minute drive to the slopes at Winter Park. Hot tub was a great place to relax and view God's amazing creation. All around great stay, will definitely be back.
